The Nottingham Lions will once again travel to face their fierce local rivals Solihull Barons, in a pre-season charity match in aid of Birmingham Children's Hospital, on Sunday 31st August (6.30pm).

Nottingham also participated in the same fixture at the beginning of last season and the Hobs Moat Road crowd will no doubt still be getting their breath back after April's epic play off final encounter between the two teams, which saw the Lions lose out after a shootout.

Entry to the game at Solihull Ice Rink are £6 - Adults, £3 Children/Concessions & £16 Family Ticket, with all profits from the game go directly to the hospital.

The Lions' NIHL Laidler D2 fixtures are expected to be confirmed within the next few weeks, so keep your eyes peeled for future announcements at

Friday, 18 July 2014.
