The Lions travel across the border to Flintshire on Sunday to take on Deeside Dragons at Deeside Ice Rink (6.40pm face off).

Both teams currently sit at the top of NIHL Division 2 North with eight points apiece, Nottingham have won all four of their games so far, whilst their hosts got their promotion challenge back on track last weekend with a 6-0 home win against Blackburn after three straight defeats against Sheffield, the Lions and Solihull.

Nottingham’s last trip to North Wales came in September 2007 where the Lions came away with a 5-0 win against the Dragons’ previous guise of the Flintshire Freeze. However the Lions’ will be expecting a much closer outcome than last time around as the Dragons look to exact revenge for their 8-6 defeat at the hand of Matt Bradbury’s men at the NIC last month.
