The Nottingham Lions begin 2015 with a much-anticipated home clash against the Deeside Dragons, at the National Ice Centre on Sunday evening (7.30pm).
Connor Glossop in action against the Dragons, back in November.
Previous encounters between the sides have always been entertaining, close-fought affairs and there is nothing to suggest that Sunday's match-up between the two sides will be any different, with the Dragons currently sitting in fourth and final play off position in the NIHL Lailder D2 standings, just one point ahead of Nottingham.
The Lions have succumbed to two narrow losses against Deeside so far this season. Goals from Connor Glossop and Dan Hazeldine were not enough for victory in their 4-2 loss at the NIC back in November, whilst Nottingham were unable to exact their revenge in North Wales the following week, going down by a 3-1 scoreline, with Ben Wood netting the Lions' solitary goal.
New-signing Elliot Perrin looks set to make his return to the Nottingham line-up, whilst coach Bradbury will be hoping for the return of Ivo Dimitrijevs, Craig Wallis, Adam Andrews and Reece Glossop, who all have had a much-needed festive break to recuperate from various injuries, which had kept them out of the team before Christmas.
So make sure you head down to the NIC on Sunday evening for what promises to be a action-packed evening's entertainment, with some #ROARTalent on show. Ticket details for the best value for money sporting experience in the county are available by clicking here.
