The Nottingham Lions travel to Humberside this Saturday, hoping to continue their unbeaten start to the season as they take on Hull NIHL Stingrays at Hull Arena.

The Lions have won seven and drawn one of their opening eight games and will be in buoyant mood following their 13-0 demolition of Blackburn Eagles at the National Ice Centre two weeks ago.

Hull will be looking to avenge their 8-0 defeat at the hands of the Lions at the NIC back in September, where two goals each from Simon Hunt and Michael Rose helped Nottingham to a convincing win over their short-benched visitors.

The Stingrays currently sit in fifth place in the Division 2 North table and after a credible 4-4 tie in Solihull and a 7-1 win over Blackburn they have failed to pick up any points in their last three games losing to Deeside and twice to Sheffield.

Face off at Hull Arena is at 5pm and remember if you can’t make the game you can follow all the action as it happens via the Lions’ official Twitter feed.
