The Nottingham Lions would like to wish Connor Glossop all the best as he moves down the A1 to play in the English Premier League for the Peterborough Phantoms.

Connor is another player amongst an ever growing list of players that move on to ply their trade in the EPL.

Head Coach Matt Bradbury spoke to about how pleased he was with the work and progress that has been made over the last few seasons with the whole Nottingham Junior Club at the National Ice Centre.

"All volunteer club coaches work tirelessly week in week out and without their efforts we would struggle to achieve the successes we have."

"At Nottingham we have a proud history of developing young players and over the past few years have been regularly stocking up players at both Peterborough and Telford respectively - players like Sam Gospel, Danny Rose, Marcus Maynard and Callum Bowley at the Shropshire outfit and Norton, Levers, Weldon down Bretton Way all came through the Nottingham ranks and before that James Neil (Manchester) and Sam Bullas (Swindon) to name a few more."

"Whilst we will miss Connor it really just opens up a slot for another player who will be given a chance within the squad next year and for other players to step up to the plate."

All the staff at the Lions are working hard in the background busy making preparations ahead of the 2016-17 campaign.
