The Nottingham Lions are delighted to confirm the re-signing of team captain Elliot Perrin, for the forthcoming 2018/19 Moralee Conference season.
The 24 year-old D-man has committed himself to lead the pride for another season.
Speaking about the reasons he has chosen to remain with the Lions for another season, Perrin said:
“We had a great season last year and accomplished many things and i'm looking to build on our performances further. It was fantastic seeing the younger players within the squad develop and grow in confidence playing against some tough opponents."
“Most other teams have already started to build stronger rosters than last year and it's always going to be a challenge which is what our team always enjoy as we learn every time we step on the ice."
Head coach Matt Bradbury was delighted to secure the services of his captain for a further year, saying:
"Elliott is still young at only 24 and has a lot to offer, he's got great experience and is very supportive of the younger players."
“Along with all of the players he learnt a lot last season and I'm sure he'll be back ready to put in another big contribution."
