In association with the National Ice Centre, the Nottingham Lions are delighted to announce another Junior Ice Hockey Skills & Drills One Day Clinic, which will take place on Thursday 28th May 2015.

After the success of the Lions' first ever junior clinic back in April, another fantastic opportunity for young propects has been organised and remains at the great value price of just £40, including a total of four hours ice time on the main arena pad.

The sessions will be coached by Matt Bradbury (Head Coach - Nottingham Lions) and Mike Urquhart (Head Coach - Nottingham Ice Hockey Club & National Ice Centre), whilst a NIC Skating Academy coach will be providing a session on maximising skating technique and edge control.

The day clinic is aimed at pushing all participants' games to the next level, whilst having a fun and enjoyable experience. Areas covered include working on your basic skills, more challenging drills to improve your skill set, enhancing shooting, passing and sticks skills along with more game-like drills.

The on-ice sessions will take place between 10.00am to 11.30am, 1.00-2.30pm and 4.15-5.15pm, whilst other guest coaches (to be announced) will also be in attendance to assist with the on ice activities.

The sessions are for any players aged 16 and under, with a minimum of two years playing experience and are open to youngsters from anywhere in the UK, not just NIHC members.
