After returning to the Lions last season following two years in Canada, Ruskin Hughes has put pen to paper for next season as Matt Bradbury continues to finalise his roster ahead of the new campaign. Hughes was one of the Lions’ top points scorers last season with 21 points in 26 games and is hoping to continue that good form when the puck drops in September.

After securing his spot for next season Hughes spoke of his anticipation of that first puck drop saying: “We knew what we were getting when Ruskin came to the Lions last season. Like most young players if they push themselves and they have got the grit, determination and love for the game with a little natural talent they will do well. Ruskin has got a lot more to offer and I hope to see break his last years points tally. It's good to have him back onboard.”

Further new signings and re-signings are to be announced over the coming weeks, so keep your eye on the club’s website and social media for all the latest updates.
