The Lions take to the road once again for their second trip up to Whitley Bay to take on a second-placed Warriors side.

On their last venture up to Whitley back in October, Nottingham came away with a precious point with a 3-3 tie. The Lions weren’t quite so fortunate on home ice against the Warriors going down 4-3 at the NIC last month.

Injuries and Under-18 call-ups will see a short-benched team for this evenings game (Face-Off – 5pm) – Jonny Bell is out with a pulled groin, Christy Johnson-Brown is still recovering from a lower body injury and captain Chris Colegate remains sidelined with an injury from last weekends game against Telford. Marcus Maynard and Lee Kemp are also unavailable but Alan Levers will travel with the team after being out for two months with a knee problem.

Alan Levers - Travels with the team.

Mental focus and a strong teamwork ethic of the like seen at Billingham two weeks ago will be required if the Lions are to come back with a point or two tonight.
